抗车辙剂Rut resistance agent
 
抗车辙剂
     外观为纯黑色颗粒状固体,是一种由多种聚合物复合成的沥青混合料添加剂,它通过集料表面的增粘、加筋、填充以及沥青改性、弹性恢复等多重作用而大幅提高沥青混合料的高温稳定性,并对混合料的水稳定性和低温抗裂性也有改善。

主要作用
1)嵌挤作用
抗车辙剂在施工过程中由于高温的作用而软化,这些微粒在碾压过程中热成型,相当于具有高粘附性的单一粒径细集料填充嵌挤到了集料骨架中的空隙,增加了沥青混合料结构的骨架作用,加强了混合料之间的相互作用力,使混合料之间更加紧密,降低了成型路面的渗透性.同时增加了沥青混合料承受荷载的能力.
2)加筋作用
由于抗车辙剂中聚合物形成的微结晶区具有相当的劲度,它在拌和过程中部分拉丝成塑料纤维,在集料骨架内搭桥交联而形成纤维加筋作用.由于聚合物纤维的存在,它在胶结料中形成网状,加强了沥青矿粉胶结料体系相互作用和整体性.
3)胶结作用
抗车辙剂投入沥青混合料的拌和锅中,在170~180°C的温度下,首先通过与矿料干拌,使它软化,继续加入沥青拌和,抗车辙剂颗粒与沥青形成胶结作用,使沥青性能得到改善.提高了沥青的软化点;降低了对温度的敏感性;增加了沥青与矿料的粘附能力.
4)变形恢复作用
抗车辙剂的弹性成分在较高温度时具有使路面的变形部分弹性恢复的功能,因而降低了成型沥青路面的永久变形.

应用领域
1)公路:高速公路及高等级公路,特别适用于高温地区、重交通路段及长大纵坡路段;
2)市政道路:市政干道、公交车道等,特别适用于十字路口和公交车站;
3)机场工程:机场跑道。
使用说明
一、应用比例
抗车辙剂的使用剂量为沥青混合料的0.3~0.5%,即每吨沥青混合料中掺3~5KG.用于道路则一般掺0.35-0.4%,即每吨沥青混合料中掺3.5-4KG即可.交通量大,重型车辆多的用高限,特殊路段可掺0.6%以上.
二、施工工艺
抗车辙剂的使用工艺方便简单,通过沥青混合料拌和过程中直接加入:
1. 将矿料加热到170~180°C时,将添加剂直接投入拌和锅内进行干拌,拌和时间可增加2~3秒.
2. 加入热沥青继续搅拌,拌和时间可相对增加.
3. 成品混合料的质量控制和储存运输按常规的混合料进行.
It's an asphalt mixture additive composed of various polymers whose appearance is pure black granular solid. Through the viscosity increasing, reinforcement, filling of the aggregate surface as well as other multiple factors such as asphalt modifying, elastic recovery, it substantially increases high temperature stability of the asphalt mixture,  improves water stability and anti-crack ability in low temperature .

Main functions:
1)Extrusion function
Rut resistance agent softens in the construction process due to the high temperature effect. These particles conduct thermoforming in the rolling process, that is to say single particle fine aggregates of high adhesion inlay into gap of the aggregate skeleton, which increases support function of the asphalt mixture structure, strengthens interaction between the mixtures, therefore enables mixtures closely connected, reduces permeability of the molding road surface, and increases loading ability of the asphalt mixture.
 
2)Reinforcement function
As micro-crystalline formed in polymer of the rut resistance agent has considerable stiffness, it draws into plastic fibers in the blending process and possesses reinforcement function as a result of bypass cross-linking in the aggregate skeleton. Polymer fiber forms into network in the cement compound, strengthening interaction and integrity of the cement system of asphalt mineral.
 
3)Cementation function
Cast the rut resistance agent with asphalt mixture into the blending pot in temperature of 170 ~ 180°C. Firstly dry blending with the mineral aggregate to make it soften, then continue to blend with adding asphalt, thus rut resistance agent particles and asphalt forms cementation, modifying performance and increasing softening point of  the asphalt ; moreover reducing sensitivity to temperature and increasing adhesion of asphalt and mineral aggregate.
 
4)Deformation recovery function
The elastic components of rutting resistance agent can enable deforming part of the pavement to recover elasticity in high temperature, thereby reduce probability of permanent deformation of molding asphalt pavement surface.
 
 
Application fields:
1)Highway: highway and high-grade highway, especially suitable for regions of high-temperature, heavy traffic sections and raised longitudinal sections;
2)Municipal roads: Municipal roads, bus lanes etc., particularly suitable for intersections and bus stops;
3)Airport projects: airport runway
 
Instructions for use:
Ratio the application
The dosage of rut resistance agent is 0.3%~0.5% the weight of the asphalt mixture, that is to say add 3 ~ 5KG per ton of the asphalt mixture. Generally add 0.35%-0.4% for road use, which means adding 3.5-4KG per ton of the asphalt mixture. As to high limit highways with traffic volume and heavy-duty vehicles, ratio can be more than 0.6% in special sections.
Construction process:
The construction technology of rut resistance agent is simple; add it directly with asphalt mixture in the blending process.
1.Heat mineral aggregate up to 170 ~ 180 ° C,  add additives directly into the blending pot to conduct dry mixing, then the blending time can increase 2 to 3 seconds.
2. Add hot asphalt to continue to blend, and the blending time can relatively increase.

3. Quality control, storage and transportation of the finished mixture can be conducted according to the conventional mixture.
